BEFORE ENGINE START
Parking Brake ON
Landing Gear Lever - CHECK DOWN
Power levers - IDLE
Fuel Switches - FUEL CUTOFF (showing red)
Fuel Quantity - CHECK
Battery switch - ON
Avionics - ON
Beacon - ON

ENGINE STARTING (BATTERY)
Check all doors - CLOSED
Engine intake/exhaust areas - CLEAR
Press Ctrl-E to initiate engine start sequence or manually...
Fuel switches - FUEL ON 
Depress starter switch and hold
Repeat the same procedure for the other engines.

AFTER ENGINE START
Generator switches - ON
Avionics switch - ON and check instrument displays.
GPS - Enter flight plan if required

TAXI
Set taxi speed gauge if required.
Check brakes operation.
Lights - as required
Check airspeed indicator reading whilst taxiing.

BEFORE TAKEOFF
Avionics and GPS - CHECK
Autopilot ENTER FLIGHT DATA, LEAVE MASTER SWITCH *OFF*
Pitch trim control - SET A SMALL AMOUNT OF NOSE UP TRIM
Flaps - SET AS REQUIRED
Pitot heat and anti-ice as required
Annunciator lights - Extinguished or considered.
Transponder - SET to frequency
Landing lights - ON

TAKEOFF
Fuel switches - check ON
Brakes - HOLD
Power levers - 90% NI Turbine RPM
Brakes - RELEASE
VR - ROTATE TO APPROX 10º PITCH UP
Landing Gear - UP WHEN POSITIVE CLIMB ESTABLISHED
Airspeed - MAINTAIN V2 UNTIL CLEAR OF OBSTACLES
Flaps - UP 

CLIMB
Climb Power - 70% N1
Engine instruments - MONITOR
Lights - AS REQUIRED
Autopilot - ON ( if required)

CRUISE
Cruise power - AS REQUIRED
Max cruise altitude 31,000 ft

DESCENT
Altimeter - SET TO LOCAL PRESSURE
Fuel - CHECK
Power - AS REQUIRED
Landing lights - ON
Set taxispeed gauge if required

BEFORE LANDING
Altimeter - CHECK & SET IF NECESSARY
Flaps - Down to initial approach position 18º (one notch)
Landing gear - DOWN
Air Brakes - Extend (/)


NORMAL LANDING
(When landing is assured)
Flaps - As required
Airspeed - according to conditions and weight 90 kts - 140 kts
Power levers - IDLE

ROLLOUT AFTER TOUCHDOWN
Power Levers - Idle (Note this aircraft does NOT have reverse thrust)
Brakes - AS REQUIRED
Flaps - UP
Spoilers - CLOSE
Landing Lights - OFF
Taxi Lights - ON

SHUT DOWN
Parking Brake - SET
Lights and Beacons - OFF
Avionics Master Switch - OFF
Pitot Heat and Anti-ice - OFF
Fuel switches - TO FUEL CUTOFF POSITION.
Generator Switches - OFF
Battery Switch - OFF
